Data Center Crane Rental

Scope of Work:

PSC Crane & Rigging provided rental of a Liebherr LTM 1300 (360-ton all-terrain crane) and crew to support the rooftop installation of major HVAC and mechanical equipment for a data center facility. The scope included the direct pick and placement of the following items from customer-supplied trucking to the rooftop:

• Large chillers
• Pipe racks
• Dog house units
• Rooftop units (RTUs)

Rigging Responsibility:

All rigging equipment and rigging personnel were supplied by the customer. PSC provided crane, operator, and technical support to ensure proper lift planning and execution in coordination with the client’s team.

Site Conditions & Considerations:

• Rooftop placement required high-reach capacity and precise control.
• Coordination with customer’s delivery schedule to ensure minimal lay down time.
• Job site with limited space required optimized crane setup and mobilization planning.

Equipment Utilized:

Liebherr LTM 1300: 360-ton capacity, equipped with main boom and luffing jib as required.
Outcome:

All equipment was set successfully to the roof per plan. The project was completed safely, on schedule, and within all lift specifications.
